![]() Its been nearly three years since Jamie took his last breath. Through the last two years I have worked with editors, co editors, publishers, managers and printing companies to share the journal I kept while we were in the hospital. At first I was approached to do a trilogy about my life before Jamie, during and after, however, I turned it down knowing that I wanted to wrap everything up in one book to share our love, dedication and loyalty with the world.. The one issue I had releasing the book was trying to get all parties included to understand that 100% of the proceeds would be donated to the Military Veteran Project for program support. Over time everyone understood that Sacrificed Memoirs of SSG Jamie & Melissa Jarboe was not a for profit every day book, it is a story about love, life & loss and it is my story to share with you.

I want to thank you for your husbands service in the Military. I want you to know you are very brave & strong! I am a Military wife as well. Everyday is challenging & can change in the blink of an eye. Your husband paid the ultimate sacrifice that no man or woman should ever have to go thru. You don't deserve to have to go thru this. Again I thank you for your husbands service & am so sorry for your loss!! What you are doing to honor his name is simply amazing. You are truly a beautiful woman & have a beautiful heart. Your husband would be so proud of you! May you have a all the blessings & memories to last you a lifetime. You are in our hearts & prayers <3

Melissa, I've been following your story since the beginning and the one thing that has always amazed me is your faith in God. I'm a Christian, but I'm not sure I could have been as strong as you and Jamie were during this time. Your strength truly amazed me and has shown me that no matter what path God has for a person in life, God is always right there with them and that person can either choose to allow God to walk the road with them or push God away and you never pushed God away. I'm truly amazed!!! God has gifted you with so much strength and courage. You are truly an amazing woman and God is using you in a wonderful way to help our men in women who serve our country. Thank you for allowing God to use you!!! God bless!!
